Stefano Bertacchi is a researcher in the field of Industrial Biotechnology in a spin-off of University of Milano-Bicocca, scientific editor and communicator with a wide experience in social network management and live events. He is chief editor of Italia Unita per la Scienza, a group of researchers, communicators, professors and students, concerning different scientific subjects, and scientific editor for Oilproject. He is involved in several regional, national and international projects, and interested in astronomy and astrobiology.
Laura Bettiol is a PhD student in Space Sciences, Technologies and Measurements at the University of Padova. She holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same University. She is one of the Space Generation Advisory Council’s National Points of Contact for Italy, International Space University (ISU)’s alumna and a member of Women In Aerospace Europe.
Elena Carpanelli holds a Ph.D. in public international law from the University of Milan-Bicocca and a master’s degree in Law from the University of Parma, as well as a LL.M. (Adv.) in Air & Space Law from the University of Leiden.
Before enrolling at the University of Milan-Biccoca, she worked in the aviation department of the Milan office of the law firm Pirola, Pennuto, Zei & Associati. In 2011, she worked as an intern at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs.
Aureliano Rivolta is a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano and his research focus is robotics for On Orbit Servicing. He holds a Space Engineering Master's degree from the same University. He has been involved in various projects with Skyward Experimental Rocketry, the Space Generation Advisory Council and has organised outreach activities and events.
Stefania Tonetti graduated in Space Engineering and she has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. She is currently Project Manager and Senior Mission Analyst in the System Engineering and Earth Observation Mission Analysis Division in the Flight Systems Business Unit at DEIMOS Space in Madrid. She has a wide experience in the Mission Analysis of Earth Observation and Active Debris Removal missions.
Laura Volontieri has just graduated from Bocconi University in Milano with a bachelor of science in Economics and Management for the Arts, Culture and Communication. In September, she will begin her Master of Science in Management at Bocconi University. She is passionate about aerospace engineering and she is currently collaborating with the Logistics department of Skyward Experimental Rocketry, a student’s association of Politecnico di Milano.
